This material is dimensionally stable, offering superior strength compared to traditional timber frames and has been rigorously structurally tested. Additionally, our precision manufacturing process produces only A-grade wood waste, which is fully recyclable into timber products such as paper, further reducing environmental impact.

Thermal Envelope exceeds passive house standards
Each Facit Home has a building envelope designed to conserve heat, reducing the amount of energy that needs to be generated to keep it warm. It has a high airtightness rating of up to 1.5 air changes per hour (lower is better). Standard builds are more like 5-10 which means losing precious heat.
Our passive approach to energy efficiency also depends on the use of solar gain to naturally heat the home in the winter. And solar shading and stack ventilation help combat overheating in the summer.
